This article explains the process for resetting the password for a courtesy/sponsored account.
For Courtesy Accounts that are not UVIDs (CA######):
The courtesy account holder should contact the UVU Sponsor for assistance in resetting their password.
The account sponsor (UVU employee) can reset the password via the Sponsored Account Tool.
Upon a successful password reset, an email will be sent to the courtesy account holder as well as the sponsor with a temporary password and instructions to set a new permanent password.
For Courtesy Accounts that are UVIDs (1#######):
Passwords for UVID courtesy accounts must be reset using the established password reset procedure for UVU students and employees.
