How Can I Remove a Student from an Engagement Opportunity Once the Opportunity Has Been Addressed?
Published Date:
Description
Learn how to use filters in Inspire to view only individuals whose opportunity status is set to “Not Addressed.” and quickly assess which students have not already been contacted about engagement opportunities.
Please note, Civitas Learning automatically removes students from opportunities when they no longer meet the criteria. Each engagement opportunity has a description of its criteria.
Solution
Login to Inspire and Adjust Engagement Opportunity Filters
Access Inspire.
On the Inspire homepage hover the mouse over the left-hand menu which will cause it to expand. On this menu, select Engagement Opportunities. This will take you to all available engagement opportunities.
Select an opportunity from the Opportunities list. This will take you to a list of all students who meet the criteria of the opportunity.
On the left-hand side, there are a number of filter options. In the Addressed filter section, un-check the Yes option; this removes contacted students from the list.
You should now see only students with No in the Addressed column of the engagement opportunity. You may need to scroll to the right to see this column.
There are more filter options available for engagement opportunities. For example, users can select only students in their assigned caseload or by persistence prediction. Users can also add or remove columns to the student list.
Users can type “engagement opportunity” in the Help Center to access more documentation from Civitas Learning’s knowledge base to learn more about the features of engagement opportunities.
