Important Things to Note

  • A student's ability to make check and online check payments can be restricted if a check has bounced more than once.

    • If a student does have this restriction, they can either make a payment online with a credit or debit card or make a payment in person with a debit card or cashier's check.

  • When entering online check information, ensure that the account and routing information entered is correct. The most common reasons for online check payment rejection are:

    • Incorrect account/routing information

    • Insufficient funds

    • Incorrect account type (checking vs. savings)

  • Credit cards are not accepted in person, and are only accepted online.

  • If a payment was made in error, contact the Cashier’s Office as soon as possible because the payment may be able to be cancelled or voided before fully processed.

  • Many credit or debit cards have daily spending limits which could result in rejected tuition payments. Contact your bank to request this limit be lifted.
